13-15 July To see our church full to bursting at the seams was a wonderful blessing! Lots of 'locals' there, but it seems people came from quite a wide radius to hear Heidi and me! A great worship leader came in, too, Mike Soloway, a man with a tremendous prophetic improvisational anointing on his music. It set a great 'platform' from which to speak. So many people responded for prayer at the end of each meeting: Friday and Saturday nights were well past midnight when they finished, and Sunday's 10.30am service finally ended around 3.30pm! There were 'immediate' testimonies of healings, and there will be many more - Heidi had some great prophetic words for the church, and for John and Mary, the pastors, and a good number of other people 11 July Time to go home - to Virginia, in the USA! Not quite a 'rest' though - a 3 day conference 13-15 July in my home church, and some other meetings during the following week. Heidi is going too, and it'll be great to have her in Restoration Christian Centre! 8 July A return visit - after 6 years! - to one of the quaintest named towns in England, Twydall. It's a great place, with a lovely church led by long-time friend Gill Tovar, but not quite as quaint as it's name suggests! Gill is the Vicar of Holy Trinity church, and it was a great privilege to preach there in the two morning services, and then to spend lunchtime with 7-8 of the men from the church... prayed for lots of people at the end of the meetings, and look forward to hearing the stories of what has happened to them in the course of the coming days! 29 June - July 1 A great weekend with Rhema Word Church, in Tottenham, North London: beginning with a night of prayer on Friday (11pm to 5am), and by God's grace, after the busyness of Sweden, I stayed awake! It was wonderful to be able to share with the folk in this church, and prayed for many over the course of the weekend. 18-28 June Arrived in Stockholm to go straight from the airport to pray for a great young man, Markus, who had suffered from fibro myalgia for 7 years. He was effectively crippled by the illness, and hadn't slept properly for more than a couple of hours at a time for the same period of time. Received a text message from him 48 hours later to say that he'd slept for over 6 hours..and then more hours the next nights... need to find out what's happened to him since! A great start to a busy trip, covering almost 1600 miles (2300 kms) and 8 very different, but excellent meetings. In Vasteras, it was great to meet a man who had left his wheelchair on the previous visit, and who told us that he'd been walking in the woods with his family since - oh, and got saved, too! Still a measure of healing to see happen, but so much happened, praise the Lord, to change his life. Many great stories to tell, but a fuller report from Sweden will appear later, and in a newsletter which hopefully will go out in the next couple of weeks! 17 June Today begins a few weeks of travelling that will be quite demanding, taking in Sweden, England, USA, and Colombia. Really value your prayers for strength, wisdom, anointing, blessing, miracles, healings, and salvation! Also value your prayers for the funds to cover each trip - this is the 'silly' season for air fares, and a good yardstick for the cost of a whole trip to multiply the fare by 2-3 times...tickets to Cali, Colombia are coming out at around 800 British pounds - about US$1600, so with other 'big' trips coming up later in the year, some miracles are needed! And, of course, the later you leave it to buy a ticket, the dearer it becomes... SWEDEN VISIT GATHERS PACE.... 16 June When God starts to breathe into something, it is such a privilege to be on the 'action' end of his move! On 20 May, American-based South African prophet Kim Clement prophesied this:
That was the day before Heidi and I arrived, though we did not know of the prophecy until we returned back to the UK on 31 May... we saw God begin to do what Kim prophesied. Believe we are just a very small part of this beginning, and as Sweden is a gateway to northern and eastern Europe, it is significant that God is working there big time! 15 June Lunch today with Russ Bravo, Editor of Inspire Magazine, and Martin Collins, of CPO, Worthing, for a possible follow up article for the magazine (on what happened in Sweden 2 weeks ago) to the article that appeared on the internet in January , which you can read here; http://www.inspiremagazine.org.uk/news.aspx?action=view&id=697, but is still yet to be published in the printed magazine. The previous article was about the amazing things God did in Cali, Colombia; the internet version has sparked tremendous interest worldwide as the story was picked up by other Christian news-gathering agencies around the world, and has resulted in a good number of invitations, including the ones to Sweden.... Spent the evening with long-time friends Nick & Erica Lugg, who have recently returned - for 6 months - to England, after a 2.5 year stint as missionaries in Zambia.... they experience things that as a travelling missionary I only encounter for a few weeks at a time maximum - everything from church politics to cockroaches and rats (maybe those things are connected!!). They are an amazing couple, along with their two great young sons, Aiden and Jake, and I sometimes wonder how I can even call myself a missionary when I hear about the way they (and countless others, of course) live... By the way...did you know that the 'collective' name for a group of Rhinos - the name of the group of men I meet with for accountability - is a 'crash'?? Love that! And the same for a group of buzzards is a 'committee'? Might say someting about some committees you know!!!
BACK TO SWEDEN! The next trip is looking busier and more exciting than the last!
RUNNING IN A NEW DIMENSION….. In the past few weeks, I’ve begun to work alongside a terrific prophetic young lady and her husband – Heidi & Stuart Plympton…I believe very much that God is in an era of genuine divine appointments LIKE WE’VE NEVER KNOWN, and I’m seeing the fruit of this almost daily! Met Heidi and Stuart in Exeter less than 5 weeks ago, and God has not only enabled us to work together, but has bonded our hearts in a great friendship that would – humanly at least! – take years to develop. A lovely man in the village of Vinninge had a stroke many years ago. The stroke had caused his eyelids on his right eye to shrink back up into the socket, so he was unable to blink. It was a delight to pray with him, and even greater delight when I felt God told me to say to him (on a Wednesday evening) 'you'll blink by the weekend' - and even greater joy when we heard that he WAS blinking by the weekend! A lovely, gentle creative miracle from the Lord. In Uppsala, a lady suffering from last-stage cancer of the liver, stomach, lungs, and pancreas, had had a dream the night before the meeting in Word of Life Church, in which I’d prayed for her and God healed her… needless to say, He did! So many cancers healed, sicknesses and diseases of every type – physical and mental – were healed, and God spoke so powerfully prophetically through Heidi into individual lives, churches, and into the nation… government decisions overturned, too! So many stories… could fill pages here with them! |
